We are the first graduates
seems incredible that three years have passed since we began our journey training travel, and now we are already planning our graduates, and organizing the year-end party.
We have gone through many experiences along the route, remember that at the beginning there were many more, more than double what we are now. Many of our colleagues abandoned half-way, some by their own problems or simply because they made other choices.
We also had to face many problems: We were without a teacher some periods because there are few teachers Itinerary, have few computers at school, we have to take turns sharing the room with other courses, and suffered several burglaries over the school, where the last time we stole two computers, three in total for the year.
But nevertheless, we still come to study and learn about computers, because we like what we learn and we like coming to school.
Therefore, we are proud that we've done, what we have learned and what we have accomplished, we've done with our own efforts.

Fix A Split Snowboard
Windows 7 will not apply to emails or photos
Microsoft has confirmed that certain applications for simple tasks such as editing photos or check emails will not be part of Windows 7. The company told specifically, Photo Gallery, Windows Mail and Movie Maker to be replaced by downloadable applications that will work in conjunction with Windows Live to deliver the same functionality. The company says this will allow a quicker release of Windows 7 and opens the possibility of working with other companies to replace these applications. Speaking to Cnet the Windows Live general manager Brian Hall said the company thinks it made no sense to offer two programs with the same functionality as it can confuse consumers. This decision demonstrates how Microsoft's strategy focuses increasingly on online services and its intention to make Windows 7 is much lighter than Vista. In addition, this move could prevent Microsoft has to face legal action for not opening its operating system to other companies

Almost half of Google is in Beta
Google
Each release is accompanied by a nice logo "Beta" under your name and a number of humorous comments about the company's tradition of maintaining dozens of products in this state, usually reserved for software that is still under development and a number of bugs per board. The problem is so well-established services such as GMail still in beta despite having years with us without further complications.
Immersed in this doubt, NetworkWorld began to see one by one the 49 established services offered by the big G, finding that 45% of them wore the ominous word in any part of your presentation.
Following its investigation, NW were directly contacted Google consultation by this curious subject, and answer the following story:
We have a very high internal demand for the products we launched before they can get out of beta. Our teams continue to work to improve these products and provide users with an even better experience. We believe beta has a different meaning when applied to Web applications, where people expect continual improvements in a product. On the web, you need not wait for the next version is on the shelves to upgrade. The improvements are presented as they develop. Instead of packaging and software slowed in the past, we move to a world of regular Automatic Up function constant refinement where applications "live in the cloud
Admittedly, the explanation sounds very nice, but does not tell us much final accounts. Folk knowledge is more concrete and prayer is much shorter: "Half of Google is in beta as an excuse in case you commit a serious error by deleting your Gmail account or something like that."

Futurology : a new standard 802.11v more environmentally friendly
Through the networking equipment company Trapeze Networks we learned some performance data that will lead to the proposed standard 802.11v (which is the replacement of the 802.11n). Among its advantages is to be environmentally friendly by substantially reducing the amount of energy required in the transmission equipment also has been incorporated a smart wiring check to shut down the radio reception, router and other devices when no signal, and automatically reactivated when no signal, which could mean a significant impact on the autonomy of our devices.
As if that were not enough, it also allows triangulation to determine the location of the device, which is quite useful in places where GPS signal is weak or simply nonexistent. Moreover, Intel seems to have been testing this new platform standard for vPro, which in part tells of a possible future mass of this standard should be completed by 2010 and more than speed and other benefits with 802.11n.

SynergyNet, a desk that would revolutionize the way people learn
is a fact that the use of interactive methodologies to facilitate and improve the quality of our learning, and researchers at the University of Durkheim are clear, so gadget and have developed a project called SynergyNet based on the Microsoft Surface to replace the desks of a classroom.
The advantage of using multi-touch desks as it is huge, allowing more easily visualize 3D recreations of bodies, for example in biology classes could see the location of the bodies and rotate the image for a better way to appreciate our anatomy, or physics classes see the effects of gravity and shocks in / elastic could play with them, getting kids to stop to go to see equations in his mind conceptualize these mean in real life. At present SynergyNet
is only a concept, but reality and take a good software could revolutionize our classrooms.

Intel Core i7 confirmed
Last week we heard rumors that suggested that new processors Intel plans to launch Nehalem platform under the name Core i7. Today, the manufacturer confirmed these rumors saying its new generation of chips will be launched under the well-established brand "Core" although not all variants have the distinctive mark i7. Apparently, the differentiator i7 will be reserved for the first batch of high-performance processors aimed at desktop computers, including a processor 'Extreme Edition' aimed at enthusiasts with options that are likely to include a multiplier unlocked for easy overclocking. Intel's decision may seem arbitrary (Nehalem platform is the seventh architecture as some speculated) but in reality this brand will be part of the current scheme and will be used with multiple IDs as new processors are introduced to the market. It is expected that the company disclose more information about the Core i7 chips at the Intel Developer Forum to be held on August 19, which also plan to discuss new techniques for saving energy that could be used in their new processors.

Windows XP still sells more copies than Vista
We approach the second birthday of Vista, and we move more and more of the launch of Windows XP, so Microsoft has had enough time to position Vista on the market. However, despite the fact that DirectX is only found in Vista, that sellers can no longer distribute XP, various advertising campaigns, and other things, users will still prefer to buy XP instead of Vista. According to recent estimates by the end of this years Vista will have been adopted by the 9% of the companies and will not reach a third of the market until after 2010. On top of that, Windows is still selling more copies Visa. In addition, many have expressed that they prefer to wait until Windows 7 comes out instead of installing Vista. Because Windows 7 has been working for several months and is rumored to be to be released next year, maybe it's time that Microsoft to focus its efforts towards this new operating system.
